Board Vacancies

Some elected boards are required to fill board vacancies by appointment by the Gallatin County Commission. The Gallatin County Elections Department facilitates the appointment process for the various Gallatin County Districts whose boards are elected including the following:

Elected Board Vacancies

The following districts are seeking individuals for the following boards:

  • Gallatin Gateway Rural Fire District: two (2) 3-year terms and one (1) unexpired 2-year term. (Application Deadline May 1)
  • Gallatin River Ranch Rural Fire District: one (1) 1-year term (Application deadline May 14)
  • Sedan Rural Fire District: one (1) unexpired 1-year term. (Application Deadline May 1)
  • Three Forks Rural Fire District: one (1) 3-year term and one (1) unexpired 1-year term. (Application Deadline May 1)
