2019 Small Grant Applications Open Season
Supported by the Gallatin County Commissioners, the Historic Preservation Board of Gallatin County awards small grants for the rehabilitation and restoration of buildings, sites, artifacts, and other historically significant features of the county’s past life and culture. The Board solicits applications for grants, usually once a year. The Board has now initiated the solicitation of grants for the 2019 fiscal year.
Successful grant applications must be within Gallatin County, provide for restoration of preservable existing historic structures, sites, or artifacts without impairment of their historic features, must have a supporting group or individual, and must provide matching in the form of funds, materials, or labor. The funded work must be completed within 12 months of receipt of funds, usually in June of the finding year.
The grant application form is available here or by personal visit to the offices of the Gallatin County Commission at 311 W. Main Street, Bozeman, MT 59715. The deadline for applications is March 30, 2019. If you have questions or need further information please contact Elaine, HPBGC grant coordinator at 406-284-9046 or by email.
