Treasurer - Property Tax Division

As of March 21, 2020, the County Treasurer's Office will be closed to the public until further notice.  Tax payments can be made online at itax.gallatin.mt.gov.  Credit and debit card fees are the same online or in person.

DUE DATE INFORMATION:                                                                                                                                                

REAL PROPERTY TAXES:  The 2019 Real Property tax statements were mailed in early November, with the first half due by 5PM on December 4, 2019,  and the second half due June 1, 2020. Mail postmarked by the due date will be accepted.
MOBILE HOME TAXES:  The second half of Mobile Home taxes were due by 5PM December 2, 2019.  Mail postmarked by the due date will be accepted.

SAVE TIME AND PAY ONLINE!  To make an online payment using a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit or debit card, OR by electronic check *NEW* (e-check) go to itax.gallatin.mt.gov, enter your Taxpayer ID#/Parcel # or other criterion and follow the prompts.  (Note:  A convenience fee for the use of credit or debit cards of $1.25 + 1.99% is charged by our third party processor.  A flat fee of $2.00 is charged for e-checks.  Multiple parcels can be paid together.)
