Background

The Gallatin County Guardian Ad Litem Program has existed since 1986. The program recruits, trains and supports lay people to become Guardians Ad Litem. An attorney-at-law is appointed by the District Court to represent the Guardian Ad Litem in each case.
 
The Gallatin County Guardian Ad Litem program is a private nonprofit organization and is a member of the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association.
