Volunteers Plant Native Trees, Shrubs at Gallatin County Regional Park

Gallatin County Regional Park Planting

A HUGE thank you to the more than 30 volunteers who helped plant native trees and shrubs at our Gallatin County Regional Park!

The project was spearheaded by the Gallatin Watershed Council, Sacajawea Audubon Society and Craighead Institute to enhance habitat at our beloved Bozeman park. This newly added vegetation will provide food and nesting habitat for birds and other wildlife , and improve water quality by providing shade to the watercourse and intercepting stormwater runoff and nutrient pollution.

If you missed out on planting, volunteers are still sought to help with weekly watering of these plants! Get more info and sign up here.
