School and Special Districts Election

The annual school and special districts election will be held on Tuesday, May 4. Active Gallatin County voters who reside in the districts that are conducting elections will receive a ballot by mail. Sample ballots are located on the Gallatin County Election website – gallatinvotes.com. To find out if you will be sent a ballot for this election, contact the election office at gallatin.elections@gallatin.mt.gov or 406-582-3060.

Ballots will be mailed on April 16. As with all mail ballot elections, there is always an option to vote in-person at the county election office located in the Gallatin County Courthouse at 311 W. Main St., Room 210 in Bozeman. In-person voting for this election will begin on Wednesday, May 14. If your ballot is destroyed, spoiled, lost, or not received, you may request a replacement ballot no later than 8 PM on Election Day.

In order to be accepted and counted, ballots MUST be received at the county election department, or a designated place of deposit, no later than 8 PM on Election Day. The places of deposit for this election are the Gallatin County Election Department (311 W. Main St., Room 210, Bozeman) and the Monforton School District Office (6001 Monforton School Road, Bozeman).
