Spring Diaper Drive Results!

You may recall recently when we let you know about Brittany Mitchell, a 911 Records employee, who was hosting a spring diaper drive to benefit the Gallatin County Diaper Bank that she founded.

Well the results were incredible! Here is what Brittany had to share:

“After hours of counting and sorting (and double checking our numbers), we are proud to announce you donated a grand total of 21,357 diapers on Saturday!

We are so proud to call this county our home - you rallied together and showed just how important this cause is to you! Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to donate diapers, talk with us & who helped spread the word.

Thank you Walmart Bozeman, Town & Country Foods S11th and Albertsons in Belgrade for being such amazing hosts, we will always be so grateful for your hospitality.

Now, the moment we know everyone has been waiting for...it's time to announce which law enforcement agency collected the most boxes/packages of diapers!

Now, we love Bozeman Police Department, Belgrade Police Department, Montana State University Police Department & the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office equally. However, there can only be one champion.....

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office raised a grand total of 138 boxes taking home 1st place!

Followed by the collaborated efforts of BPD/MSU who collected 92 boxes taking 2nd place and Belgrade PD bringing in 70 boxes to place 3rd !

Thank you to the officers and deputies who aided in helping transport all 300 boxes up the stairs to our storage

There are not enough words to express just how grateful and blown away we are by how our community came together to help get this little idea off the ground.

As always, if there are any questions please reach out to brittany@bozemandiaperbank.com.

Work is underway on the Gallatin Canyon Pavement Preservation and Safety Improvements project. Here’s what to expect for the week of May 6.
