Community Advocacy

There are a number of community advocacy groups in Gallatin County that provide assistance to victims of violence. 

Haven

Haven provides confidential support, legal advocacy, counseling, and a safe place to stay for anyone and everyone impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and stalking. Haven works to empower survivors, elevate their voices, strengthen our community, hold abusers accountable, and stop the cycle of abuse. If you don’t feel respected and safe in your relationship, Haven is here for you.

MSU VOICE Center

The Montana State University VOICE Center provides free and confidential services and information for all people impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and harassment; including friends, family, and loved ones of survivors. Advocates are available 24-hours a day to provide confidential support, information, and discuss different options. The VOICE Center also provides prevention presentations, trainings, and volunteer opportunities for those who want to help support survivors and work to prevent interpersonal violence on our campus.

The Help Center, Inc. provides crisis counseling, advocacy, information, outreach, support, and services to clientele in a safe, confidential environment. The intent is to assist clients in gaining insight, clarity, empowerment, client centered solutions and life improvement in the wake of life’s difficulties and in the aftermath of traumatic events.
