If an emergency situation occurs on a road after office hours, please contact County Dispatch at 406-582-2063. Dispatch will contact the proper authorities to correct the problem.
You may contact the Road Office at 406-582-3250 or by email with concerns or questions regarding road maintenance. Questions or complaints regarding State Maintained Highways may be directed to the Montana Department of Transportation.
The Gallatin County Road and Bridge Department performs the following maintenance activities on County-Maintained Roads and Bridges in Gallatin County:

Bridge repairs
Guardrail repairs
Culvert cleaning
Flood control
Brush trimming
Grade gravel roads
Removal of downed trees
Road signs
Mowing alongside the road
Driveway/utility permits
Pavement maintenance
