RENEWAL STATUS: I mailed in my renewal but haven't received my tabs and my check hasn't cleared the bank. Now what?

Because we are so busy, it is taking us between 10 and 15 business days to process mail-in renewals - not including mailing.  We understand that many people send their renewals and checks at the end of the month, but that is when we are the busiest.  If you haven't received your renewal and/or your check has not cleared your account within 2 weeks of your submittal, please email us as mv@gallatin.mt.gov, and include your name, last 6 digits of your VIN, plate number and address.  We'll look up your transaction and advise you of the status.
