Nixon Gulch Road Closure Rescheduled

A previously scheduled closure of Nixon Gulch Road has been rescheduled.

On Monday, Sept. 21 and Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 9 AM until 2 PM, Nixon Gulch Road will be closed to through traffic at Nixon Bridge crossing the Gallatin River. The Gallatin River at this location will also be closed to all river traffic.

Traffic is advised to avoid this area during the closure as there will be large transport vehicles blocking the roadway. Project work requiring the closure consists of lifting and setting the 122-ft long concrete beams from the transport vehicles. Only beams for the south bridge span will be set during this time.

Beam delivery is anticipated prior to road closure. Traffic delays may be encountered along the route from I-90 to the project site.
