The Gallatin County Floodplain Administrator will consider a request for a floodplain development permit by Confluence Consulting, on behalf of Tench Coxe to conduct work within the regulatory floodplain of Thompson Creek on land owned by Americus LLC, Jim & Vickie McMilin, Flushing Wild LLC, Jones Family Partnership LP, Sue & Carol Van Delinder, Jennifer Connor & Janet Savko, Rest Home LLC, and Rick Rosenthal & Nancy Stephens. The proposed project is generally described as a stream restoration project along approximately 26,000 lineal feet of Thompson Spring Creek. In summary the project includes channel narrowing and habitat features, replacement of two culvert crossings, floodplain expansion/wetland creation, excavation of an in-channel sediment basin, relocation of a drain ditch, restoration of a small spring tributary, creation of a waterfowl pond, creation of a semi-permanent flooded palustrine emergent wetland, hardened crossings, and restoration of 6.449 acres of palustrine emergent wetland.A copy of the application is available for public review at the Gallatin County Planning Dept., Rm. 108, 311 W.
