The purpose of the hearings is to consider a Resolution to Amend the Hyalite Zoning Regulations. The amendments include the addition of Home Occupation uses, conditional uses, associated definitions and any subsequent change to ensure compatibility with all sub districts. A joint public hearing to be held before the Hyalite Planning and Zoning Commission and the Gallatin County Commission on October 11, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., and the Gallatin County Commission on October 23 2018, at 9:00 a.m. Both hearings will be held in the Community Room of the Gallatin County Courthouse, 311 West Main, Bozeman, MT 59715.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider a Zone Text Amendment submitted by Simkins Holdings, LLC, to amend the Section 22 (Town Center Commercial), Section 23 (Town Center Residential), Section 34 (Guidelines and Development Standards for Town Center Commercial District), and Section 37 (Parking) of the Gallatin Canyon/Big Sky Zoning Regulation. The proposed amendment comprehensively amends Sections 22, 23, and 34; and proposes changes to Section 37.11 (Parking- Big Sky Town Center Commercial District) as applicable to the changes proposed in Section 22, 23, and 34.
