NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held before the Gallatin Canyon/ Big Sky Zoning Advisory Committee on June 3, 2019, at 9:30 a.m., in the Big Sky Water and Sewer District office, 561 Little Coyote Rd, Big Sky, MT, the Gallatin Canyon /Big Sky Planning and Zoning Commission, June 20, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., and Gallatin County Commission on July 2, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. in the Community Room of the Gallatin County Courthouse, 311 West Main St., Bozeman, MT.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider a Zone Map Amendment to the Gallatin Canyon/ Big Sky Zoning Regulation submitted by Lone Mountain Land Company on behalf of landowner CH SP Acquisition, LLC for a tract of land legally described in Deed Book 40, Page 422, less Plat J-487-A, J-568, and J-581, Section 33, Township Six South (T06S), Range Three East (R03E), Big Sky, MT (Future Spanish Peaks Resort Subdivision Phase 6B). The current Zone Map identifies this area as Residential Cluster Single Family 20 (RC-SF-20). The applicant is requesting the area be designated as Resort (R).
