County Environmental Health Officer Tim Roark will temporarily replace Health Officer Stephanie Nelson, who is retiring at the end of August after 12 years in the position, until a permanenet replacement is hired. The Gallatin City-County Health Board selected Roark as the interim director while they search for a permanent replacement. Roark has bachelor’s degrees in environmental biology and geology and has been with the county for 17 years, acting as Environmental Health Officer for the past 12.
