Yes, there are two controlled ground water areas which have been designated within the Gallatin Local Water Quality District boundary:
Bozeman Solvent Site Controlled Ground Water Area.
Located in the City of Bozeman at the old Buttrey's Shopping Center location and extending northward beyond I-90 and Frontage Road.
Idaho Pole Company Site Controlled Ground Water Area.
Located in Gallatin County northeast from the City of Bozeman.
